Product details

The Voltcraft BT-1 lead battery tester is a reliable testing device specifically designed for checking 6 V and 12 V lead and lead-gel batteries. With this analog tester, users can quickly and easily determine the performance of their car or solar batteries. Unlike conventional multimeters that do not apply a load, the BT-1 puts a high current load on the battery and measures the voltage under load. This allows for an accurate assessment of the battery's condition, as weak batteries will fail under this type of measurement and can be immediately identified. The portable device is ideal for use in workshops, solar system installations, or camping, ensuring that batteries function reliably. It is suitable for batteries with a capacity of at least 30 Ah (12 V) and 15 Ah (6 V).

  • Precise measurement under load for accurate results
  • Quick identification of weak batteries
  • Ideal for workshops and solar systems
  • Portable design for versatile applications.
