The Voltcraft KT-10 data cable mapper provides a quick and easy overview of the condition of data cables and runs. The KT-10 identifies common wiring errors such as open lines, short circuits, split pairs, and swapped wires. The mapper tests all common cable types from Cat 3 to Cat 7a up to a length of 305 meters. The device detects whether shielding is present and correctly connected at both ends. For test runs, such as permanently installed cables, there is a detachable remote unit that conveniently stores in the base of the main device. An additional function in conjunction with an existing tone generator LSG-4: precise localization. Three different tone patterns help you accurately locate cable faults.
