Victron Energy Victron coupling socket 16A/230V (2p/3w) for built-in appliance plug

The detachable coupling box MP16-110 from Victron Energy (MPN SHP301604000) is designed for use with the MP16-10 installation device plug. The cable size to be used depends on the current.

Installation Instructions

Follow these steps to attach the plug to the cable:

• Unscrew the plug and slide the housing onto the cable. The sleeve can be cut to size if necessary.
• Strip the cable. Ensure that the cable ends are clean and not corroded. If necessary, trim the cable back until clean wire is visible. Do not solder the ends of the cables!
• Insert the cables into the correct, color-coded terminal openings on the back of the inlet. Tighten the terminal screws to a specified torque. Ensure that no cable insulation is under a terminal.
• Tighten the strain relief.
• Slide the housing over the plug. If necessary, apply a small amount of soap to the cable to make it easier to slide the plastic cover. Tighten the mounting screws securely.
