Victron Smart Orion-Tr 12/12/30 Charge Booster

Fully configurable charge converter Orion Smart with three charging stages, ideal for campers and boats. Suitable for Bluetooth Smart monitoring, adjusting settings, and updating the charger with newly available software features, which can be done with any Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet, or other devices.

Fully programmable battery charging algorithm (configurable) or fixed output. Intelligent generator compatibility: engine running detection. Adaptive three-stage charging algorithm: constant current, constant voltage, maintenance. For lead batteries, it is important to keep the absorption time short during shallow discharges to avoid overcharging the battery. After a deep discharge, the constant voltage duration is automatically extended to ensure the battery is fully charged. For lithium batteries, the absorption time is fixed, set to two hours by default. Alternatively, a fixed output voltage can be selected.

Remote on/off switching: A remote-controlled on/off switch or relay contact can be connected to the two-pole connector. Alternatively, the H connection (right) of the two-pole connector can be connected to a battery positive terminal, or the L connection (left) of the two-pole connector can be connected to the battery negative terminal (or, for example, to the chassis of a vehicle). All models are short-circuit proof and can be connected in parallel to increase the output current. An unlimited number of devices can be connected in parallel.

Overtemperature protection: The output current is reduced at high ambient temperatures. Protection class IP43 when the screw terminals on the device are installed facing downwards. No special tools are required for installation. Input fuse (non-replaceable).
