The GX IO-Extender 150 expands the input and output (I/O) capabilities of a GX device, allowing for seamless integration with additional sensors, controls, and external devices. It connects via USB, which also serves as a power source, providing a simple and efficient expansion solution. The device can be controlled both through Node-RED on the GX device and via the switch window in the user interface.

• 8 digital I/Os, configurable as 8 inputs, 8 outputs, or 4 inputs + 4 outputs
• PWM output for precise control applications
• Two latching relays for low-power switching
• One solid-state relay (SSR) for fast switching of DC loads, including resistive, capacitive, or inductive loads (e.g., the coil of a high-performance relay)
• Plug-in spring terminals for quick and secure connections
• Configurable via Node-RED for easy automation and custom logic

Node-RED

Node-RED is a visual programming tool that allows users to create flows for data processing. By integrating Node-RED, users can create complex automation processes and connect their Victron energy products with other devices and services.

Victron Remote Management

The Victron Remote Management (VRM) online portal allows you to access your installation from anywhere, at any time. In VRM, you can check the status of your connected products, view detailed historical graphs of your energy usage, create detailed analysis reports, and even configure automatic alerts in case something goes wrong.
