Victron Energy Cyrix-Li-ct 12/24V-120A Charging Relay Lithium

The Cyrix battery coupler is a high-performance microprocessor-controlled relay that automatically connects batteries in parallel when one of them reaches a predetermined voltage level (indicating that the battery is charging). It disconnects the batteries from each other when the voltage drops below the maintenance voltage level (indicating that one or both batteries are being discharged).

Cyrix battery couplers are excellent for replacing separation diodes. Their main feature is that there is virtually no voltage loss, so the output voltage of the battery chargers does not need to be increased.

The "li" models differ in that the switching voltage for connecting the batteries is higher than that of the Cyrix models without the "li" designation. Since a lithium battery has a higher resting voltage, this is essential; otherwise, the relay would remain closed at all times. Thus, the "li" version switches at 13.4 V, while the standard model switches at 13 V.
