Victron Energy Current Transformer CTR110000500 Battery monitoring
Product details
The Victron current transformer 100 A:50 mA is an extension for the MultiPlus-II / MultiGrid-II series. This transformer allows for the implementation of the PowerControl and PowerAssist functions, as well as optimizing self-consumption with external power measurement.
Features
- For MultiPlus-II and MultiGrid-II series
- Cable length: 1 m
- Max. current: 32 A
- Easy installation via plug connection
PowerControl – Optimizing power supply with limited AC
The MultiPlus-II / MultiGrid-II can deliver a very high charging current. This means a significant load on the AC supply or generator. For this reason, a maximum current can be set. The MultiPlus-II then takes into account the existing consumption and only uses the remaining available current for battery charging.
PowerAssist – Extended usage options for generator or shore connection: the "support" function
With this function, the PowerControl principle gains a new dimension, as the MultiPlus-II can support an insufficient alternative source. Load peaks often occur only for a limited time. In such cases, the MultiPlus-II ensures that inadequate AC grid power or generator power is immediately compensated by energy from the battery. If the load is reduced, meaning consumers are turned off, the then sufficiently available energy can be used to charge the batteries.
