The Vertiv Geist Switched Rack-PDU VP5G30A7 is a vertical rack power distribution unit with 32 A, 230 V, 0 HE, input power monitoring, and outlet-level switching. It features 20 U-Lock C13 and 4 U-Lock C19 outlets, as well as a 2P+E (IP44) plug, offering a power capacity of 7.3 kW. This device allows outlets to be turned off remotely to prevent accidental overload, and devices can be powered on and off to restart unresponsive critical IT equipment. It integrates the next-generation Vertiv Geist IMD, which displays power data on its LCD touchscreen with good visibility and a resolution of 128x128 pixels. Through the touchscreen interface, users can configure their rack PDU without requiring a network connection. It also includes a redundant power-sharing port that connects two IMDs in the rack and provides backup power in case of a power outage.
