The monitored rack PDU from Vertiv Geist VP4G30AK is a vertical rack power distribution unit with 32 A, 230 V, 0 U, and input power monitoring. It features 36 C13/C19 combination outlets and a 1P+N+E (IP44) plug, offering a power capacity of 7.3 kW. The device allows quick access to critical power consumption information down to the device level, enabling the analysis of energy consumption trends and maximizing uptime. Integrated is the next-generation Vertiv Geist IMD (interchangeable monitoring device), which displays performance data on its LCD touchscreen with good visibility and a resolution of 128x128 pixels. Through the touchscreen interface, users can set up their rack PDU without requiring a network connection. It also includes a redundant power-sharing connection that links two IMDs in the rack and provides backup power in case of a power outage. Enhanced security with a secure boot process has been added to protect data and ensure uninterrupted operation. The devices are UL-listed, comply with TAA, and are individually tested for functionality and reliability.
