The Vertiv Liebert GXT5 lithium-ion UPS protects critical IT applications from power outages and various power supply disturbances. This online UPS offers the highest level of power conditioning and backup power in server rooms, network cabinets, and other distributed IT locations or those at the so-called network edge. Lithium-ion batteries need to be replaced less frequently and last up to three times longer than traditional valve-regulated lead-acid batteries. This reduces maintenance, labor, and replacement costs, leading to lower total cost of ownership (TCO). The battery allows for industry-leading runtime, ensuring that essential devices are protected during unexpected power outages. It also provides better performance at higher temperatures, supports up to ten times more discharge cycles, and enables faster recharging. It is hot-swappable and user-replaceable, allowing for easy replacement without interrupting the power supply to connected devices. With the integrated maintenance bypass cabinet (MBC), users can also power connected devices during maintenance or replacement of the UPS.
