The Vertiv Edge Lithium-Ion UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) is designed to protect critical devices in server rooms, network cabinets, and other edge and distributed IT applications. This 1.5 kVA UPS offers a lower total cost structure that can provide savings of up to 50% over its lifetime. Lithium-ion batteries have a higher energy density, last about 2-3 times longer, charge faster, and withstand up to ten times more discharge cycles than traditional valve-regulated lead-acid batteries. It features Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to further extend battery life and provides sufficient runtime during a power outage for a safe shutdown. This easy-to-set-up and maintenance-free single-phase UPS system comes with a standard five-year warranty for both the UPS and the batteries, and when paired with the optional web card for remote management, it is ideal for remote or unmanned locations. This rack/tower UPS includes a rotatable LCD display that allows for both rack and tower configurations.
