Previously funded on Kickstarter and ranked as the second most funded lens project to date, this is the world's first consumer-quality probe lens that focuses from 2:1 macro to infinity and features a compelling wide-angle 'bug eye' perspective. The wide-angle design allows for a much greater depth of field in close-up shots compared to traditional telemacro lenses, revealing more background details. The front barrel of the lens is waterproof, and an LED ring light is mounted at the tip of the lens. It can cover both standard 35mm full-frame and Super35 image sensors and is super easy to transport. Canon EF, Nikon F, Sony FE, Pentax K, and Arri PL mounts are available. The "Cine-mod" version with standard geared focus and aperture rings is specifically designed for videography. Included are a control cable with variable power and a sturdy aluminum carrying case. The Laowa 24mm f/14 2X Probe Lens is now available. The package includes a white USB cable dimmer (with power adjustment), a black USB cable (without power adjustment), a lens pouch, and a metal housing.
