UHDTV is the standard for digital video transmission in the TV/multimedia sector, for example, for connecting a TV with an HDMI interface to a playback device with a Mini DisplayPort connection. The cable features a Mini DisplayPort and an HDTV connector. DisplayPort is signal-compatible with HDMI. Note: A DisplayPort-UHDTV cable can only be used in one direction: the Mini DisplayPort connector is only usable on the data source side (for example, graphics card, MacBook, Ultrabook, laptop/notebook, or PC).
