With our UHD-capable DisplayPort fibre optic cable, you have the option to establish a connection of up to 50 m between your devices. The active cable does not require a separate power supply and is particularly well-suited for installation in cable ducts due to its small diameter. It is a hardware solution, with no software needed. The connectors have built-in optical transceivers. No external power supply is required; the cable contains a copper fibre for power supply. The small dimensions of the connectors and cable ensure that the cable has a smaller diameter than comparable pure copper cables due to the optical fibres. The practical connector design prevents the cable from slipping out of the DisplayPort socket.
