With our UHD-capable DisplayPort fiber optic cable, you have the option to connect your devices over distances of up to 30 meters. The active cable does not require a separate power supply and, due to its small diameter, is particularly well-suited for installation in cable ducts. It is a hardware solution, so no software is necessary. The connectors are equipped with optical transceivers. There is no need for an external power supply; a copper fiber within the cable provides the necessary power. The small dimensions of the connectors and cable ensure that the cable has a smaller diameter than comparable pure copper cables due to the fiber optics. The practical connector design prevents the cable from slipping out of the DisplayPort socket.
