Umage Asteria Up

Asteria LED Ceiling Light. Elegantly reaching for the stars: Soren Ravn Christensen designs a minimalist ceiling lamp for the Danish brand Umage. Instead of directly mounting the flat, round shade to the ceiling, the Danish designer opts for a short suspension made of brass. This has two advantages: First, the light design appears more delicate at the ceiling despite its substantial size. Second, light from the integrated LEDs also shines upwards towards the ceiling through a small opening. The frosted disc on the underside casts glare-free light downwards, creating a refreshingly bright ambiance! However, for those who prefer to change the lighting moods—whether bright light for crafting or dim evening light—the dimmable Asteria LED ceiling light from Umage can be installed with a standard phase-cut dimmer at the wall switch.
