Umage Asteria

Asteria LED Ceiling Light. Elegantly reaching for the stars: Soren Ravn Christensen designs not an extraordinary UFO lamp, but a minimalist ceiling light for the Danish brand Umage. Instead of directly mounting the flat, round shade to the ceiling, the Danish designer opts for a short suspension made of brass. This has two advantages: First, the lighting design appears more delicate at the ceiling despite its substantial size. Second, light from the integrated LEDs also radiates upwards towards the ceiling through a small opening. The frosted disc on the underside casts glare-free light downwards, providing a refreshingly bright illumination. In short, the Asteria LED ceiling light from Umage offers an exceptionally pleasant lighting experience that illuminates a room beautifully when placed centrally.
