It solves the problem of headphones not being able to connect to a computer that only has a single 3.5 mm headphone jack. Please ensure that the headphone and microphone are plugged into the adapter before connecting the adapter to the PC, as it will not recognize the microphone otherwise.
The microphone jack of this Ugreen 3.5 mm audio splitter cable only supports TRS microphones and is not compatible with TS or TRRS microphones. The headphone jack of this adapter is only compatible with CTIA standard headphones and does not support iPhone headsets or OMTP headphones.
