The TL-MC1400 rack-mount chassis with 14 slots is specifically designed to accommodate 14 TP-LINK media converters for centralized power supply, saving space and power cables. Continuous operation is crucial for fiber optic communication, which is why the chassis is equipped with an optional redundant power supply and a hot-swap feature that allows for the installation or removal of the converter or power supply without shutting down the chassis. Additionally, to stabilize performance and extend lifespan, two internal cooling fans are installed. Together with the MC series Gigabit and Fast Ethernet media converters, the TL-MC1400 is the ideal solution for your media conversion network. For TP-LINK media converters, the TL-MC1400 supports version MCXXX 2.0 and higher, but not version 1.0.
