The Toshiba HDTB320EK3CA Canvio Basic is a good hard drive that only requires a few compromises in terms of performance. In return, however, the power consumption is very low, the noise level is right and the mobility can also be rated as successful.

The Toshiba Canvio Basics 2TB does not show any weaknesses in the test, but it does not deliver top results either. The transfer rates of just under 100 MB/s are just above average and the power consumption is also respectable. The highlight, however, is the low price: at only 4.3 cents per GByte, the Toshiba is one of the cheapest hard drives in our best list.
