TinyCircuits TinyShield GPS

Utilize GPS positioning with your TinyDuino! This TinyShield is based on the Telit JF2 GPS module, which uses the popular SiRFstar IV chipset. This module is designed by default to output GPS strings in NMEA format with an update rate of 1 Hz (this can be updated to 5 Hz with an NMEA command).

This TinyShield includes a built-in GPS antenna on the board itself, so no external antenna is needed to keep the size as small as possible. The TinyShield also contains level shifters and a local power supply to ensure proper and safe operation across the entire TinyDuino operating voltage range up to 5 V.
