The DMX Bricklet can be used as DMX slave or master.
In master mode the Bricklet can control up to 512 channels with the maximum possible DMX speed. Frames can be sent with a fixed frame rate to create smooth animations. The frames are double-buffered to increase the performance.
In slave mode the Bricklet can receive all 512 channels. It can react to any of these channels. It is also possible to monitor an existing DMX network without interference.
The Bricklet is equipped with an XLR jack and plug and has a switchable 120 Ohm termination.
The DMX Bricklet has a 7 pin Bricklet connector and is connected to a Brick with a 7p-10p Bricklet cable.
