Tilta Hydra Alien Car Mounting System Pro Kit

The Tilta Hydra Alien Car Mounting System is designed for use with smaller gimbals to create high quality cinematographic images on a comparably low budget. The Pro Kit includes the Hydra Alien Car Mounting System, the Remote Control Kit for RS 2 and the Hydra Alien Monitor Mount. The Hydra Alien Pro Kit offers a complete package for flexible in-car mounting and includes additional accessories for more precise control and improved ease of use. The Remote Control Kit enables full wired or wireless control of the DJI RS 2, as well as the Hydra Alien Monitor Mount, which makes it easier to monitor your footage while controlling the RS 2. The system uses a highly customisable combination of dovetail plates and suction cups, each capable of supporting a payload of 50kg. Highly elasticated, shock-absorbing silicone ensures longer durability and less abrasion, while the updated suction cup plungers provide a stronger seal for greater security in colder weather. When the system is connected, users can fine-tune the exact placement of their mount to achieve almost any possible angle when mounting to a vehicle. The system also features a shock-absorbing arm to better stabilise the camera for certain shots, as well as a spring-loaded cradle head if the intended shot requires the gimbal to be turned upside down. The hydraulic damping rod further stabilises the arm for better results in less than ideal driving conditions. The Hydra Alien supports full wireless control of the RS 2 via the optional Remote Control Kit for RS 2, which allows you to control the settings of your RS 2 gimbal as well as the recording and photo functions of your camera via either a wired or wireless connection. It also includes a thumb stick that allows you to control the pan and tilt of your gimbal for maximum precision in operation.
