Product details

The CPU Contact Frame for Intel 13th and 14th generation processors is an essential accessory for water cooling systems, replacing the original Integrated Loading Mechanism (ILM) of the motherboard. This mounting aid optimizes the clamping pressure, significantly improving cooling performance. Due to the altered dimensions of the Intel Raptor Lake processors and the associated changes to the LGA1700 socket, new mounting brackets are required. The standard ILM only has contact points in the center of the CPU, leading to uneven pressure distribution and a concave bulge of the Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS). The CPU Contact Frame shifts the clamping pressure from the center to the edges, achieving a uniform pressure distribution and a larger contact area with the CPU cooler. This allows for better coverage of the thermal hotspot and optimizes cooling performance, especially in overclocking applications.

Highlights:

  • Made from high-quality aluminum for durability and optimal heat conduction
  • Supports Intel LGA1700 socket, compatible with 13th and 14th generation processors
  • Improves cooling performance through uniform pressure distribution and larger contact area.
