The Thermal Grizzly AMD AM5 M4 Backplate in detail
The AM5 M4 Backplate from Thermal Grizzly is an optional mounting plate that replaces the original AM5 backplate. Some CPU coolers use a mounting kit that comes with screws featuring an M4 thread. These are not compatible with the UNC 6-32 thread used in the AM5 backplate. With the AM5 M4 Backplate, compatible CPU coolers, especially AiO water coolers, can be used.
