You can set the clock to automatically turn on the backlight in the dark. The display glows softly—bright enough to see the time, but not so bright that it disturbs you. Thanks to energy-saving LED technology, the battery lasts a long time. The snooze function allows for a gentle wake-up. The integrated thermometer measures the room temperature to ensure a comfortable climate in the bedroom. For a restful sleep, the temperature should not exceed 18 °C (64 °F) and should not be below 16 °C (61 °F).
