The Aureon 5.1 PCI offers everything you need for perfect sound. You can connect 2, 4, or 6 speakers across up to 6 (5.1) channels, delivering top-quality sound with up to 48 kHz for both recording and playback. Optical digital input and output ensure lossless recordings and the proper connection of DVD, DAT, or MiniDisc recorders. Whether it's DVD, music, or uninterrupted gaming fun, the Aureon 5.1 PCI supports all common standards. These include DirectSound / 3D, A3D 1.0, EAX 1.0/2.0, MacroFX, EnvironmentFX, MultiDrive, ZoomFX, MPU-401, and Soundblaster / Pro. Thus, the Aureon 5.1 PCI is truly fully compatible. It can record and play back all audio sources (8/16-bit recording and playback with up to 48 kHz in mono/stereo) and offers Extended Full Duplex for recording and playback (mono/stereo).
