With the compact STERNRADIO IR 2, you can listen to thousands of internet radio stations and podcasts at home thanks to the integrated WLAN. Once connected to the home network, you can enjoy an almost limitless variety of music, news, and stations from around the world, even without a permanent power supply. The STERNRADIO IR 2 features a BL5C battery that can be easily replaced with just a few steps. This allows you to use the device spontaneously and flexibly wherever you have WLAN.

Five radio stations are pre-programmed on direct selection buttons: STAR*SAT RADIO, radio B2, radio GOLD, Klassik Radio, and Deutschlandfunk. The direct selection buttons can also be customized according to your preferences through the favorites management. You can quickly and easily find additional internet radio stations by top stations, genres, and countries on the large color display, easily selectable with the practical navigation wheel for scrolling. You can save more stations in your personal favorites list.

Additionally, a range of soundscapes specifically designed for falling asleep and waking up has been integrated. For example, you can choose the soothing sound of raindrops, relaxing piano music, or birdsong from the so-called sleep radio list. The STERNRADIO IR 2 also offers helpful alarm, snooze, and sleep timer functions. The display can be dimmed in two levels upon request and can even switch from full color representation to a monochrome view in black and gray tones.
