Tascam Dr-70d

The DR-70D is a compact audio recorder that allows aspiring DSLR users to create high-quality audio recordings alongside their film shoots. The recorder can be mounted directly between a tripod and camera or on the camera itself, creating a compact unit.

With its two built-in microphones, the DR-70D is ready to use in standard situations right out of the box. Additionally, it features four combo XLR/TRS inputs, enabling you to record four audio channels in excellent sound quality using professional microphones. Thanks to the camera output and input, you can record the stereo signal from the recorder onto the camera, making it easier to edit the material later in conjunction with the recorder's slate signal function. On the other hand, you can monitor the camera's audio material through the recorder.

The features of the DR-70D include overload-resistant, high-quality preamps with a switchable low-cut filter and limiter, processing of microphone signals in mid/side format, phantom power with 24 or 48 volts for condenser microphones, as well as many common and less common functions that facilitate the recording, monitoring, and subsequent processing of audio tracks.
