The new Tamron 18-400mm is the world's first lens for APS-C DSLR cameras that covers a focal length range of 18 to 400 mm, achieving a zoom ratio of 22.2x. The 400 mm focal length at the telephoto end allows for ultra-telephoto shots and corresponds to the angle of view of a 620 mm focal length in full-frame format. This mega zoom is ideal for travel and everyday use. It offers photographers all possibilities from wide-angle to ultra-telephoto without the need to change lenses. The desired zoom factor can be easily and quickly selected with a slight turn of the zoom ring.
