Tamiya expands its RC truck series with the facelift of the MAN TGX 26.540 in the Euro 5 version from 2013, adding another German 3-axle tractor unit. The new grille featuring the large MAN logo is particularly striking. With the 526 mm long and approximately 3 kg heavy kit model of the 2013 MAN truck, which was awarded Truck of the Year in 2008, impressive combinations can be created. Under the tiltable cab, you will find the proven and robust Tamiya truck technology. A powerful electric motor delivers its power to the two rear axles through a switchable 3-speed transmission. A detailed aluminum ladder frame provides the model with the necessary stability. Thanks to its high weight and a fifth wheel plate, the MAN TGX 26.540 can be coupled with numerous Tamiya and Carson model sport trailers. With the optionally available multifunction unit, nearly all sound and light functions of the original can be simulated. The model is delivered pre-painted in the color Tamiya TS-54 Light Blue Metallic.
