Tamiya presents the CC-02 chassis (Cross Country) now featuring a Land Rover Defender 90 (1990) body. The CC-02 chassis is modeled after real off-road vehicles and includes a frame chassis, bevel differentials at the front and rear, and a 4-link suspension. The solid axles at the front and rear make the model particularly capable off-road, and the 4 CVA oil-filled shock absorbers perfectly cushion any bumps.

Power is provided by a robust 540 motor, which is mounted behind the front axle. This ensures good weight distribution when tackling rough terrain. Attached to the motor is the gearbox, which transmits power through movable drive shafts to the front and rear axles.

The body features the distinctive design of the Land Rover Defender 90 and is made from polycarbonate. Additionally, Tamiya has included a separate front grille, side mirrors, and a roll cage. The lamp inserts can be equipped with 5 mm LEDs – the light unit is included in the kit! In this special edition, the body is pre-painted in Light Blue and White, and the windows are tinted with PS-31 smoke color.
