Tamiya Audi V8 1991 (TT-02)

The Audi V8 competed in the German Touring Car Championship (DTM) in 1991. This V8 was driven by Frank Biela, who secured a total of four season victories, ultimately clinching the overall title at the end of the season. The 58682 Tamiya model, scaled at 1:10, is based on the TT-02 chassis. This chassis features multiple adjustable settings for wheelbase, ground clearance, track width, and gear ratio, and with countless optional tuning parts, it can be quickly modified into a racer. The 4WD drive system with a central shaft, double wishbones, and shock absorbers on all four wheels ensures a realistic driving appearance and excellent traction. The underside of the chassis is designed to be extra smooth, and the battery compartment accommodates all common battery types. A visual highlight is the wheel hubs, which have attached brake disc replicas.
