The Porsche Carrera RS 2.7 is a legend in the 911 series. It was developed in 1973 to participate in European GT races. It features a 2,687 cc 6-cylinder engine with 210 hp and a lightweight body with improved aerodynamics. The RSR 2.8 racing version had a revised 2,808 cc engine with over 300 hp and won the European GT racing series in 1973. The model is delivered on the TAMIYA BT-01 chassis in a short wheelbase, mid-engine, and rear-wheel-drive configuration. The TAMIYA BT-01 chassis is beginner-friendly and offers 6 different drive and chassis variations. The wheelbase can be built at 257 mm or 251 mm. Additionally, the chassis is designed to mimic the drive systems of real cars and can be constructed as a front-engine or mid-engine with either front-wheel or rear-wheel drive. The included body is already pre-painted in PS-1 white and PS-31 smoke color for the windows. Required accessories: remote control with receiver, steering servo, 7.2V NiMH battery pack, charger.
