SWIT S-4612 Heavy Duty DVI to SDI Converter

The S-4612 is a mini converter designed for DVI to SDI conversion (DVI-D, 18+1 connector). It is widely used for DVI video sources to deliver and broadcast, supporting up to 1080p at 50/60 format for DVI to SDI conversion.

Input and Output
The S-4612 offers:

  • 1× DVI-D (18+1) input
  • 2× 3G/HD/SD-SDI outputs (reclocked)
  • 1× 3.5mm audio input (supports format conversion only)

The S-4612 features low SDI jitter and SDI re-clocking, allowing the use of long SDI cable lengths while maintaining pristine image quality.

Embed Analog Audio into SDI Output
The S-4612 supports a 3.5mm analog audio input, which can be embedded into the SDI output. The audio supports a 48kHz sample rate.

Status Indicators
The S-4612 provides three LED indicators to check if the power is connected and if the input/output signal is being delivered.

Power Supply
The mini converter is powered by a pole-tap DC socket. The package includes an AC-DC power adaptor, and you can also connect a DC cable from 6-18V batteries.

Heavy Duty Housing
The S-4612 mini converter features a unibody aluminum alloy housing, making it strong for field use and effectively protecting the BNC connectors.

Installation
The S-4612 provides a bottom 1/4-inch screw thread for fixing on cameras, and an installation plate (A-IP00) is supplied in the package for wall mounting and binding the BNC/DVI cables.
