Light duration and batteries - The maximum light duration depends on the energy of the sun's rays hitting the solar panel and the wattage of the light. The intensity of the solar energy varies depending on the weather and time of year. The manufacturer specifies the maximum possible light duration that can be achieved under ideal weather conditions. These maximum values decrease the less solar energy the solar panel can absorb. Please also note that the built-in batteries cannot be replaced by standard batteries. The built-in batteries are the rechargeable battery that is charged via the solar panel. This charging process is not possible with conventional batteries.
