With the 1.8 m long active Mini DisplayPort to VGA converter cable, you can directly connect your Mini DisplayPort-enabled device (such as a MacBook or any Microsoft Surface Pro device with mDP) to a VGA monitor or projector without the need for additional adapters or cables – an economical solution that allows your Mini DisplayPort computer to connect to a VGA monitor or projector.

The adapter cable is compatible with Intel Thunderbolt when connected directly to a corresponding DisplayPort over Thunderbolt I/O port. And since the converter cable supports video resolutions up to 1920x1200, you can convert a DisplayPort video source to VGA without compromising video quality.
