Maximum transmission distance: 10 km
Maximum data transmission rate: 2000 Mbit/s

The Gigabit Ethernet copper to fiber media converter extends your network or the distance between two devices. Fiber optic network connections provide greater distance and security with less electromagnetic interference (EMI) than typical copper-based RJ45 networks. The expandable SFP module (LC fiber connectors) can be swapped out if your network infrastructure changes. It supports Link Fault Passthrough (LFP), Auto Laser Shutdown (ALS), and Auto MDIX, with up to 9.6K jumbo frame support. It supports full or half duplex operation and autonegotiation or forced mode, designed for maximum reliability. Compatible with Gigabit (1000 Mbps) copper (IEEE 802.3ab, 1000BASE-T) and fiber (IEEE 802.3z, 1000BASE-LX) protocols, it offers fast, hassle-free setup. The rugged steel housing makes it ideal for factories or warehouses. The converter comes with a pre-installed Gigabit SFP transceiver with LC connectors. In case of future changes to your network infrastructure, you can easily replace the module to adapt the media converter to your new network requirements.
