The Gigabit Ethernet copper-to-fiber media converter extends your network or the distance between two devices. Fiber network connections offer greater range and security with less electromagnetic interference (EMI) than typical copper-based RJ45 networks. The expandable SFP module (LC fiber connector) can be replaced when your network infrastructure changes. It supports Link Fault Passthrough (LFP), Auto Laser Shutdown (ALS), and Auto MDIX, with support for up to 9.6K jumbo frames. It is designed for maximum reliability and is compatible with Gigabit (1000 Mbps) copper (IEEE 802.3ab, 1000BASE-T) and fiber (IEEE 802.3z, 1000BASE-LX) protocols. Setup is quick and straightforward, and the sturdy steel housing makes it ideal for factories or warehouses. The converter comes with a pre-installed Gigabit SFP transceiver with LC connectors. For future changes to your network infrastructure, you can easily swap out the module to adapt the media converter to your new networking requirements.
