Connect a PC or Mac equipped with Mini DisplayPort to a DVI monitor using an active 0.9 m cable.

With the active Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter cable (0.9 m), you can directly connect your Mini DP video source (such as one of your MacBook or Microsoft Surface Pro devices with mDP) to a nearby DVI monitor or projector, saving the cost of additional adapters and avoiding cable clutter.

To ensure compatibility with virtually any Mini DisplayPort output device, the active Mini DP to DVI adapter supports Multi Mode (DP++) as well as Single Mode DisplayPort signals. Unlike passive adapters, this adapter can be used with graphics cards that do not support the output of Multi Mode DP++ signals, such as ATI Eyefinity cards.

The adapter is compatible with Intel Thunderbolt and supports resolutions up to 1920x1200 when directly connected to a DisplayPort over Thunderbolt/USB-C port.

Note: This adapter is not compatible with the Apple Cinema Display.
