Connection of a DB9-capable control device to a 3.5 mm-capable device for RS-232 based control.
This serial cable features a DB-9 connector and a 3.5 mm plug. It allows for serial RS232 remote calibration of televisions, projectors, and digital signage devices that have a 3.5 mm audio jack.
High-quality construction.
The cable's aluminum-Mylar shielding and the metal housing connectors reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI). The molded PVC connectors with strain relief and the PVC jacket of the cable prevent damage from pulling and/or abrasion.
Secure the DB9 connector by tightening the integrated thumb screws. These screw locks on the connector prevent accidental disconnection, which could lead to data loss or corruption.
