Retailers and restaurateurs today have the choice between traditional cash registers and new, innovative tablet-based point-of-sale systems that offer the flexibility and mobility increasingly required in retail and hospitality environments. Concerns related to communication and connectivity issues have led retailers to be hesitant in adopting mobile tablet POS systems to benefit from their cost savings. Managing a large number of tablets and Bluetooth devices that are paired together often makes it difficult to maintain the correct connection between individual peripherals and other devices. With the TSP143IIIU, all of this changes. This printer can not only be used with traditional POS terminals but can also be directly connected to an iPad or iPhone via an Apple Lightning cable for reliable USB communication. This eliminates the usual Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and LAN configuration problems regarding pairing, network infrastructure, and connectivity. No other independent POS printer currently offers this capability.
