MC4 EVO Ready solar connector set (crimpless assembly). These original MC-4 plugs and sockets from Stäubli / Multi Contact can be assembled without tools and without crimping pliers thanks to the snap-in technology, allowing them to clamp the solar cable itself. MC4 PV connectors are the most commonly used connectors in the solar sector. Many solar modules and solar charge controllers are supplied with MC4 contacts as standard. The couplings and plugs are suitable for 4 mm² and 6 mm² solar cables. The original product is characterised by the following features: Suitable for cable cross-sections of 4 mm² and 6 mm². Outer diameter of the cable: 5.4 - 7.6 mm. Pluggable with the original MC4 product portfolio. Rated voltage: DC 1500 V. Operating temperature range: -40 °C to +85 °C (IEC). Maximum temperature: 115 °C (IEC). Protection class, mated: IP65/IP68 (1 m, 1 h). Connection type: Spring terminal (tool-free connection). Fire protection class: UL94-V0.
