Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is a breathtaking reinterpretation of the beloved masterpiece and narrative beginning of the Erdrick Trilogy – the first three games of the Dragon Quest series. With vibrant HD-2D graphics, new and modernized features, and a refined narrative, players are invited to embark on an epic fantasy adventure to save the world from a dark evil.

Years ago, the great hero Ortega bid farewell to his wife and child as he set out to defeat the nefarious arch-enemy Baramos. Ortega failed, and Baramos still threatens the world. Now, on their sixteenth birthday, Ortega’s only child is summoned by the King of Aliahan and entrusted with a mission of the highest importance: to take up Ortega’s task, defeat Baramos, and save the world. Accompanied by a group of traveling companions chosen at the beginning of the game, the player immerses themselves in a vast HD-2D world full of cities, dungeons, and caves, encounters fascinating characters, and battles wild monsters in enhanced turn-based combat.

The HD-2D remake of Dragon Quest III has been redeveloped for a modern audience, offering fans the opportunity to experience a beloved RPG adventure and its expanded offerings like never before, while also serving as a perfect starting point for newcomers to discover one of the most influential RPG franchises in gaming history.

PEGI

Pan European Game Information (PEGI) is a European video game content rating system established to help European parents make informed decisions on buying computer games with logos on games boxes.

Country version Packaging

Describes whether the game comes with USK or PEGI packaging. USK ("Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle") is the age rating used in the German market. The PEGI ("Pan European Game Information") age rating is used in the rest of Europe (and also predominantly in the Swiss market). While PEGI is "only" a recommendation, the USK rating is binding for the sale of software in the German market.

The country version usually has no influence on the game content.

Note: It can happen that occasionally different packaging is delivered.

The Entertainment Software Self-Regulation Body (USK) is the responsible body in Germany for the age rating of video games as well as video game trailers.
