Product details
Filament Spectrum PLA Pro is a material based on modified PLA, used for the production of 3D printing filaments. By specifically adjusting the chemical composition of the material, the advantages of PLA and ABS have been combined.
Filament Spectrum PLA Pro offers improved heat resistance and high impact bending strength. It allows for a high impact bending strength of the produced elements, which is 50% higher than that of classic ABS material, while also maintaining a high tensile strength characteristic of PLA-based materials.
The modification of the chemical composition has also improved the flow index of the material. PLA Pro filament is primarily an excellent solution for industrial applications, based on high printing efficiency and the ability to increase printing speed.
The PLA Pro filament can be processed at high temperatures in a heated chamber. After crystallization, the model exhibits increased temperature resistance (up to 85 °C) and nearly double the impact bending strength compared to standard ABS.
Uneven heating can lead to unexpected deformations and suboptimal performance of the printed parts. It is important to ensure that there are no hot or cold spots in the heated chamber. The typical annealing time for parts with a wall thickness of approximately 3.2 mm is on average 20 minutes.
