Product details

Spectrum PLA Silk Filament 1.75mm 1kg Aluminium Silver offers a satin-like finish that produces silky glossy printed objects. The Spectrum PLA filament is made from raw materials specifically designed for 3D printing. It features high-quality PLA with excellent flow properties. New from Spectrum with ID-Spool-Tracking! The filament is vacuum-packed on a transparent spool.

Printing temperature: 210-240 °C. A heated bed temperature is not strictly necessary due to the low warp effect, but around 0 – 45 °C is recommended.

Spool size: Spool diameter: 200 mm, spool height: 76 mm, hub hole diameter: 53 mm.

Technical details:

  • Specific weight: 1.24 g/cc
  • MFR (210 °C / 2.16 kg), g/10 min: 6 (D1238)
  • Heat distortion temperature: 55 °C
  • Tensile strength: 60 MPa (D882)
  • Tensile modulus: 3.6 MPa (D882)

Storage: Cool and dry (15-25 °C) and away from UV light. This significantly improves durability. Each desktop 3D printer has its own unique characteristics. Therefore, it may be necessary to experiment with the temperature settings to achieve the best results. To obtain optimal results for your prints, consider variables such as the nozzle diameter of your 3D printer, print speed, and layer height.
