This HDMI extender is ideal for multimedia conference rooms as well as for use in classrooms with projection or large screens. The 18 Gbps HDMI extender can extend the HDMI Full HD signal over a single optional CAT6/6a cable up to a distance of 70 meters. It enables lag-free, uncompressed transmission over long distances between the transmitter and receiver. The maximum video resolution for transmission is 4K@60Hz. The extender also supports the pass-through of KVM signals for the transmission of input devices (keyboard/mouse), allowing the source device (e.g., computer/laptop) to be controlled remotely. It supports the EDID copy function between the source device and the display device. The power supply for the transmission set is provided via a power adapter connected to either the transmitter or receiver. With the POC function, the power supply for the other component is also realized through the network cable.
