Product details

Arduino shield with a TLC5940 PWM driver. With this shield, you add 16 additional PWM outputs to your Arduino, for example, for LED displays or indicators, backlights, and servos.

All 16 PWM outputs are connected to standard 2.54mm headers with GND and VCC. The output pins of the TLC5940 are also accessible, allowing for additional TLC5940s to be connected (Daisy Chain).

Notes: While the 3-pin PWM headers have a spacing of 2.54mm, the spacing between the individual headers is slightly larger to allow for multiple servos to be plugged in side by side without force. Additionally, each output is equipped with a 2.2k pull-up resistor. Finally, a 2.2k SMD resistor at the Iref pin sets the output current to 17.8mA - there is also space for an additional through-hole resistor to increase the current if needed. Please refer to the schematics for resistance calculations.

As is customary with us, we provide 2 pairs of stackable headers for free (not included in the original package).
