Product details

The latest Bluetooth modem from SparkFun featuring the RN-42 module. These modems operate serially (RX/TX) and are excellent for replacing serial cables. Any serial stream with a speed of 2400 to 115200 bps can be transmitted.

Thanks to the integrated voltage regulator, the board can be powered with 3.3 V - 6 V DC - the RX and TX pins are also tolerant of 3.3 V - 6 V. The board should not be connected directly to the serial port of a PC - an RS232 to TTL converter is required!
