Product details
Universal Plug and Play, or UPnP, is a universal standard that allows various devices within your home network to communicate with each other seamlessly and without extensive configuration, regardless of the manufacturer. This enables you to conveniently access centrally stored multimedia files, which you can then play in any room of your home.
With Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB+), radio reception is exactly how it should be: diverse, simple, and available everywhere. Unlike analog radio, you can enjoy clear sound without crackling or noise, thanks to interference-free reception. Additionally, the automatic station search eliminates the hassle of manually tuning to the right frequency. With DAB+, you also benefit from a wider variety of programs. Switch to the radio of the future now.
With this device, you can receive analog broadcasts in the frequency range of 87.5 to 108.0 MHz thanks to the built-in FM tuner. In Switzerland, various private and public stations are available—just tune in to the correct frequency, and you can receive your desired station in stereo quality. By the end of 2019, all FM programs will also be broadcast digitally on a DAB+ platform. The shutdown of FM transmitters will begin in 2020 and is expected to be completed by 2024.
Thanks to internet radio, you can easily receive countless radio stations via audio streaming. All you need is a device like this with an internet radio tuner and an internet connection—you'll be able to access programs from around the world. Simply filter by country or music genre and enjoy a radio program tailored to your needs—whether it's news, entertainment, or music, there's something for everyone.
